She was a Mama, in the Mamas & The Papas, known for her soaring harmonies on California Dreamin' and Monday Monday. He was the voice of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, whose anthem Take Me Home Country Roads became an American standard. John Denver & Cass Elliot crossed paths at least once, on a duet of Denver's hit, Leavin' on a Jet Plane.

Songwriters at Play presents a tribute to their music, performed by local and touring artists at 2pm in the Lounge.

Performers include:

Deborah McHenry, Jason Lopez, Jeffrey Pine, The InVocations, Ann-Marita, Marina V, and Mark & Sherie.

Host Steve Key has appeared at Moonstone many times, as host of monthly song contests, songwriter showcases, and as guest host of Open Mic. Songwriters at Play has produced several tribute concerts at Moonstone Cellars, including John Prine, Elton John, and Joni Mitchell.
